Throughout the year, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Fullerton hold several special events to help raise money that directly fund our many programs. We offer social events & fundraisers that are designed for every age in the Fullerton community!

From our Golf Tournament to our Annual Auction Gala we've always got something fun & especially exciting planned for everyone to enjoy! Our Boys & Girls Clubs Fullerton events are a wonderful way for you to get involved with your Fullerton Community & most important, you will make a difference in the life of our youth!     On Friday, February 22nd, 2008, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fullerton hosted its Annual Youth of the Year Banquet. Youth of the Year is a national program run though Boys & Girls Clubs of America and awards our young members for their accomplishments in service to Club and community, academic performance, and contributions to family life. This years recipients were honored at a ceremony sponsored by the Fullerton South Rotary Club; and out of the 4,000 youth that we serve year, only 4 were chosen as the best of the best.

    Christian Aragon is 15 and was selected as this year’s Club-wide Youth of the Year. Christian is 15, attends Fullerton Union High School and serves as the Vice President of the Club’s Keystone Service Group.
    Chase Mallard is 12 years old and was honored as the Commonwealth School Branch Youth of the Year. Chase attends Commonwealth Elementary and participates in many of our athletics programs including soccer, baseball and football.
    Efrian Amezcua is 12 years old and has been a member of the Valencia Park branch for 6 years. Efrian attends Valencia Park Elementary and is an active member in the Club’s Jr. Staff Program and Vice President for Torch Club.
    Hannah Craaybeek is 13 years old and attends Nicholas Junior High School. Hannah is an active member in the Jr. Staff program and Smart Girls, a program that teaches self confidence and women empowerment to girls ages 10 to 13 years old.

May 4, 2008 @ 10:30a.m. - La Vie en Rose Brunch

BREA, Calif. – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Fullerton has announced its 17th Annual Champagne Brunch fundraiser for Sunday, May 4, 2008. The event will be held at the award winning La Vie en Rose restaurant, at 240 S. State College Blvd., In Brea. Louis Laulhere, proprietor of the French restaurant, has graciously hosted this event for the past 16 years in a row, each year better than the last. The event begins with cocktails at 10:30 a.m. followed by a five course meal at 12:30 p.m. This event is filled with fine food, drinks, socializing and entertainment by Jessica Lauhlere who will be flying in from New York, NY, where she stars in her own Broadway Cabaret show.

Laulhere has revived recipes from farms and seaside villages of his native Gascony, France to make this lavish brunch like no other, with a selection of food and wines to delight event the most disconcerting connoisseur. All proceeds from the event will go directly to support the various programs and services at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fullerton, which serves more than 4,000 youth each year.
