We would also like to thank those who attended our 15th Annual Hoby Brenner Golf Tournament. Without the support of people like you it would not be possible for us to continue serving the youth in our community as we have done for the past 50 years.

2007 Youths of the Year Announced!

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Fullerton held its annual Youths of the Year ceremony on Friday, March 5, 2007. Four youths were given the prestigious title this year – one for each Club branch.

This year’s event was sponsored locally by Fullerton Rotary South and was held at the Fullerton Senior Center. Among other qualities, the program recognizes superior leadership skills, academic achievement, obstacles overcome and outstanding service to Boys & Girls Clubs and the community. Youth of the year, which has been a tradition of Boys and Girls Clubs across the country since 1947, is sponsored on a national level by The Reader’s Digest Foundation.

Other club members from each of the four sites were also recognized for excelling in certain areas of club activities. These areas were Games Room, Education, Technology and Arts, Club Service and Athletics.

All four of this year’s winners will be recognized at the Orange County Youth of the Year competition!

A Special thanks to everyone who helped put on the BGCF first "Princess Day" event with Miss Fullerton. This was a special day for the girls at our Richman Branch. They wrote to our Troops, practiced "Princess Etiquette", and created lovely gowns out of tissue paper.

At the end of the day, each girl was crowned a Princess & given a Certificate. Thank you to the Miss Fullerton Scholarship Program.
